MGA Members use the power of collaboration to create a positive business environment in Missouri. By working together as a single voice for the food industry, members of the Missouri Grocers Association influence and improve the grocery, retail, food sales and distribution commerce throughout the state.

The grocery industry is heavily regulated, making MGA’s relationship with the state and federal agencies invaluable to our members. Our association is here to answer any questions you may have. We can help with EBT and WIC programs, food safety, alcohol and tobacco compliance, food licenses, and any other industry issues that you may need clarification on.

Over the past year our association has:

  • Worked with federal delegations to temporary cut burdensome regulations.
  • Worked with retailers on finding common sense solutions with the Health Department ordinances
  • Assisted retailers on the changes to WIC requirements
  •  Provided quality and timely updates from state and local officials
  • Aided retailers and vendors on clarifications for local and state laws and regulations

MGA prides it's self in being the grocery industry's voice on legislative issues in Missouri.
