Pandemic-EBT Expanded Through Summer 2021

April 27, 2021 8:51 AM | Campbell (Administrator)
On Monday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that Pandemic-EBT benefits will be expanded to all low-income children of all ages through summer 2021, which is aligned with language in the American Rescue Plan that President Biden signed into law earlier this year. P-EBT was created in March 2020 to provide EBT benefits for children whose schools were closed due to COVID-19 and has since been expanded through the entire pandemic and summer 2021. According to USDA, "families of eligible children typically receive $6.82 per child, per weekday, or roughly $375 per child over the summer months."
